The new Jeep CJ5 in my barn

Posted by Jean Wnuk on Mon, Mar 30, 2009 @ 08:55 AM

On Friday, I came home and was walking into the house when I was intercepted by the CEO of this company (whom I happen to be married to). He asked me to come into the barn and see something. He then said, "I bought a Jeep". My first thought was "Another one? Don't we have enough." I mean, I am the co-owner of a Jeep company, but c'mon,  we already have a yard full! In any case, I held my tongue and said, "Let's see." This is what I found in the barn.

A beautiful '73 Jeep CJ5 barn find. Only 12,500 miles. All original. I can't wait to take a drive (after we take off the plow).

"It was a deal I couldn't pass up."

THIS time, I agree!  If you like CJ5s, visit to view our Jeep CJ5 Posters!

All Things Jeep Parts

Browsing the web, came across this image. Think it's my favorite Jeep Photo for the day.  'Course they used our name in their description, but that's okay. While All Things Jeep is a clever name, it's not unique. If we wanted unique, we shoulda gone with Ebenezer's Jeep Supplies, or something like that. Anyways, here's the photo and the link to other fun photos of this Jeep graveyard

Celebrating his Birthday with a New Jeep

Posted by Jean Wnuk on Mon, Mar 16, 2009 @ 03:04 PM

Back on March 1st, I posted about a daughter who was buying her dad some Jeep Gear for his birthday. He was also getting a Jeep for his birthday, lucky dog! I think it may have been his first Jeep (and he had always wanted one).

I was polite but did inquire about his age, as I love hearing that someone gets their first Jeep at age 40 or age 50. Well... this new Jeeper was getting his new Jeep at the youthful age of 91! (I am not ashamed to say that it made me get kinda teary-eyed!!)

Here he is, sporting his new Jeep Vest, his lovely wife, and his new Jeep. John, I hope you get many years use out of the new Jeep!

Some of our best friends are Hummer Owners.

Posted by Jean Wnuk on Tue, Sep 23, 2008 @ 12:50 PM

This past week, to celebrate our birthday, we've been throwing extra goodies into our customers' orders when we ship out the boxes. Some of those goodies have been some of our old bumper stickers that we no longer sell.

Today we got this email from Norm:

I received the decals that I ordered (see below) today.     Thank you for giving me my laugh of the day.  Enclosed was a free "Hummer Recovery Vehicle" decal.  The 'paved roads' sticker is going on a Hummer H1! I am president of the Canadian Hummer Club.   Somehow I don't think my Hummer friends would like to see the yellow "Hummer Recovery Vehicle" with the Jeep towing the Hummer on the back of my vehicle.   I'll pass it on to the next Jeep Rubicon that I see!   Norm London

Thank you again for ordering with All Things Jeep. We appreciate your business.
Your order has shipped!

The items that have shipped are listed below.

Ordered: 1 Shipped: 1 ATJ30922 "Roads? Where we're going, we don't need roads" White Decal $4.25
Ordered: 1 Shipped: 1 ATJ30169 Paved Roads Decal: Another Fine Example of Unnecessary Government Spending Sticker $5.00

So, a little lesson here. Some of our best customers could be HUMMER OWNERS! But now I've learned my lesson, not all Hummer owners are uptight, stuffy, never been off pavement 4x4 owners. Some have a sense of Hummer, oops, I mean HUMOR.  So a shout out to Norm and his Hummer buddies up in Canada. Have fun out there!

RE: Jeep Dog Days of Summer Contest

Posted by Jean Wnuk on Tue, Aug 05, 2008 @ 10:46 AM

We've gotten all sorts of entries for this contest but this one is so funny I had to post it. Enjoy.

"Hi There, Just couldn't decide which picture to send.  We have 3 dogs who love to go jeeping, Annie, Petey and O.D.D.  Annie and O.D.D. are rescue dogs that love any attention they can get. O.D.D. stands for Other Damn Dog, cause he was the last one we got and couldn't remember his name.  He came with the name of Kibbles and we changed it to Kirby, but kept calling him Hoover  (wrong vaccuum cleaner).  We now just call him O.D. for short, but it causes some reactions in the vet's office when they come out and ask for Odd.  People really look at us like we are odd.  People also look at us a little strange when we are jeeping down the road with 3 dogs.  We are done dragging home dogs now cause we can't fit anymore in the Jeep, however we do have 3 Jeeps, so if only one of those dogs could drive we could drag home a few more.
