I wanna go to their Topless Jeep Day

Posted by Jean Wnuk on Thu, Mar 12, 2009 @ 03:31 AM

Got this email this AM.

"Just wanted to update you on the progress of our Go Topless Day plans.  We've spread the word to our brother and sister clubs throughout Florida. We've made up flyer's and have begun a placing them on Jeep windshields. We have started pre registration, (to get an idea on how many to expect) and at present we have over 50 rigs registered for our Coastal Cruise on Go Topless Day.  Our plan is to cruise up the Florida east coast on Hwy A1A to a  beach area for playing in the sand and having a picnic. One of our members is a Deputy Sheriff and has made arrangements to have motorcycle escorts block the intersections in order to keep our convoy together! We're hoping to have t-shirts designed for the event as well.  Our Club is really excited about GTD and are looking forward to making this an annual event!   Also I was wondering if you will be able to send stickers and swag for us to hand out at the event?
(of course we will - Jean)
We'll be sure to send you updates  on our progress as well as photos and a report after the event.
Thanks for allowing us to be a part of Go Topless Day!

Pirates Of Moor Jeep & 4x4 Club of Central Florida

You are welcome Perry! Of course we will send you Go Topless Day goodies, and hopefully we can help spread the word for you too.

We are happy to post other club activities going on for May 9th, right here. Send them along! jean @ allthingsjeep.com

Props for the Jeep Window Roll and Convert-A-Top

Posted by Jean Wnuk on Wed, Mar 04, 2009 @ 02:12 PM

Just got this note from customer Bill. I'll pat Cloverpatch on the back and post it here.

"Recently my wife and I attended the All-For-Fun trail ride put on by the Mile High Jeep Club in Colorado.  This is a fun event with a week of trail riding.

The first few days were beautiful and our TJ performed flawlessly.  We have the Clover Patch Window Roll and the Convert-A-Top from All Things Jeep and they were being used.  The Convert-A-Top allowed us to keep the sun off our heads but allowed full viewing of the mountains as the sail panels are up and out of the way.  The windows were tucked away in the Window Roll.

On the third day our group was on top of one of the mountains where everybody spotted black clouds.  The trail guide gave us time to get ready for the trip down which he wanted to do quickly.  We de-installed the Convert-A-Top and put our windows back in and within 10 minutes we were ready to go.  We noticed the majority of Jeeps had bikini or safari tops on and they were about to get soaked.

The heavy rains came and we started back to camp.  The trail we would have taken back was washed out so we had to take the highway back, a longer drive.  We felt sorry for the kids that were soaked to the skin.  It was hard to see in open Jeeps because the rain got on the inside of the front window.  Thank you All Things Jeep and Clover Patch for products that really is amazing.  We drove back with our equipment and ourselves completely dry."

I've posted before, I think the Window Roll is a MUST HAVE for any soft top Jeep owner. Living here in New England, where the weather changes hourly, it's kept me dry and happy on many occassions. Thanks Bill, for sending in that post.

In Honor of Go Topless Day

Posted by Jean Wnuk on Tue, Mar 03, 2009 @ 03:40 PM

In honor of the upcoming Go Topless Day, Guy, up in Canada sent us this photo. It was attached to the following email.

"I've been doing business with All Things Jeep for some time and appreciate the service you provide to us Jeepers.... "Its a Jeep thing...."

I own a '95 Wrangler (since '95) and have had the top and doors off for the past three or so years.  Thankfully, we, up here in Winnipeg Canada, only get about 6 or 8 months of COLD weather...

The past few weeks have brought us a cold snap with temps going as low as -52 degrees C.  Now, you may know that -40 degrees C and -40 degrees F are equal... the bottom line is C O L D!!!

So the pic attached shows me enjoying the weather, just having plowed my 250' driveway and drive circle in front of the house.  Yes, I get funny looks from the neighbors, but I smile and wave at them while the snow blow their push machines looking like walking iceicles.  and Yes, I get funny looks from gas station attendants until I explain that if topless is good enough for snowmachiners (ski-doo, etc.) then it ought to be good enough for me.  The bonus of course is my radio and three-speed heater...

In support of your GO TOPLESS campaign I attach my pic --- hope it serves."

His First Jeep

Posted by Jean Wnuk on Sun, Mar 01, 2009 @ 04:54 PM

Last week I got a call from a very nice women. She was buying a few Jeep t-shirts, a Jeep hat and a few other Jeep items for her father's birthday. She was very happy to find the stuff she did because he was getting his first Jeep for his birthday and he was thrilled. He had always wanted a Jeep and on this birthday, he was finally getting his first Jeep. I asked how old he was going to be. The answer, "91".

Wow.

I asked for photos of him in his new Jeep. I can't wait to see them (and post them here.)

Jeep Posters & Fine Art Prints

Posted by Jean Wnuk on Fri, Feb 27, 2009 @ 02:59 PM

I am SO happy. We have Jeep posters back in stock! Years ago the marketing arm of Daimler Chrysler made a set of very popular Jeep posters.  You may remember the outhouse poster, the elephant butt poster, the spraypainted jeep grille. And my favorite, the Jeep® Constellation Poster. However, these are long-gone and there has been no licensed manufacturer of Jeep posters since then.

UNTIL NOW. We've just added 95 different Jeep posters.

We have Vintage Jeep Advertisements.

We have Jeep Concept Vehicle Posters.

And we have over 70 different Jeep Models in poster format.

That means we have a Jeep Scrambler Poster (my fav.)

And a Jeep CJ-3B poster.

And a 1957 Willys FC-170 poster.

And a '67 Jeep Jeepster poster. (It's at the beach.)

And several Jeep Wagoneer posters.

You get the idea. We are talking EVERYTHING. There's all the models up until 2007, so we have some Jeep Wrangler JK Unlimited posters, Jeep Liberty posters, Jeep Commander posters, etc.

Just a note, before you click off this blog over the the site to take a look. These are HIGH-END, individually printed, art posters. Not made in China. Not available at Walmart. I think you will be pleased. Let me know what you think, please.

Mount Washington-The highest mountain in New England!

5. What is the most interesting thing you've DONE in your Jeep?'

Nope! But I did get pulled over for doing 50 in a 30!

The first protocol Jeep made by Willys Corporation in 1940.

10 Does your Jeep have a name? What is it?

Black Jeep- original but we need to differentiate from the other two (Red Jeep and White Jeep)

12. Is it a boy or a girl?

The Wranglers are boys and the Cherokee is a girl.

13. Tell us about any stickers or custom work you have on your Jeep?

I have, Life is Good, Airaid, Rubicon Express and Detroit Locker stickers. My entire hardtop is custom because it feel off the Jeep and needed to be made stable again.

14. What's the most unique thing about your Jeep?

It has a Salvage title and still drives like it just came out of the factory.

15. If you are a member of a local Jeep or off-road club, give a shout out to the club here:

I'm not but I do go on a forum: http://www.neow.org/

16. If you were a Super Hero and your Jeep had extradinary powers, what would those powers be?

To turn my most traveled roads into off-road obstacle courses so driving will always be an adventure!

17. If you could chose one new gift for your next birthday, would it be:
    - a new 2009 4 door Jeep Wrangler Rubicon
    - a fully restored, 1941 Jeep Willys
    - world peace
    - a million dollar gift certificate to http://www.allthingsjeep.com/
(this is a loaded question, we do hope you all choose world peace)
