Songs about Jeeps

Last year we were send a link to Rebekkah Dreskin's website and got a chance to listen to her tune "Jeep Boys" . With a chorus of "Jeep Boys Make My Day...", I'm wondering how many of you girls can relate.

Take a listen to the song and tell me whether the manly hiss of knobby 33s airing down brings you to your knees. The lyrics are fun and of course, by the end of the song, she's converted to a Jeep girl.

And this makes me wonder how many other songs exist out there about Jeeps. Anyone know any?

If you can post a link to another Jeep song (appropriate for all), we'll send you a free copy of Jeep Boys on CD. Thank you Rebekkah!

My father, Aaron Rose, wrote a jeep song during world war II. I have the music sheet. Any ideas about getting the song out there?

On my iPod, I have a few Jeep songs (besides the one already mentioned)---I don't know how to find them online, but I'm sure you could download them from iTunes.
Listener beware---most of these songs imply "sleeping" (ahem) in the back of a Jeep....
"Back seat of my Jeep" - LL Cool J
"You remind me of my Jeep" - R Kelly (the lyrics to this one are funny)
"Lemon" (the jeep mix) - U2
"Jeep" by Joe

Just heard a new song on the radio today---"Jeep Jeep" by Krista Marie
Ripped shirt, suntan, and a camel baseball cap
doors off, aviators on
a faded pair, of blue jeans
he’s got a smile like i’ve never seen
speakers rockin to a country song
i’m sorry girls but i just can’t stay
got some better things to do today
he just called and said he’s on his way
chorus: beep beep
here comes my baby in his jeep jeep
he drives me crazy, bouncin up and down all around town in his bucket seat seat
he wants to take me on a back road
i’ll go anywhere he wants to go go
tough and sexy that’s how he rolls
in his jeep jeep
some night go by the river
and run it thru some shallow water
i ain’t scared of getting wet
and later on, if i’m lucky
he’ll take me back where the field gets muddy
and getting stuck is a good bet
he likes going where he ain’t allowed
good times is what he’s all about
what’s that i think i hear him now
he don’t do nothin by the book
don’t know how far he’s off the hook
just look that’s all it took

Jason - I hate your submission. I spend A LOT of time fighting for access to public lands, gaining access to private land and fighting that misconception. Maybe the writers intended it to be tongue-in-cheek, but I do not see any humor in those lyrics and the video is lame.

Understood Mike. I think it obviously was poking fun at the whole "It's a Jeep thing, you wouldn't understand" banner that Jeep owners rally behind. I think to some degree we invite that sort of mockery with the stickers, the waving to each other - non-Jeep owners will take that as us thinking we are better than them, which I think the video was trying to present. Anyhow, I thought it was a funny jab at us.
