All Things Jeep Accessories!

For the past 4 years All Things Jeep has been a unique online gift store for Jeep and off-road enthusiasts. With our selection of t-shirts, hats, decals, tire covers, etc., we've focused on the gift market and have become great friends with the wives, husbands, mothers, fathers, boyfriends and girlfriends of Jeep folk like us.

With the expansion of our warehouse space from our big red barn

to our new space in an old mill building (seen here)

it gives us the opportunity to greatly expand our Jeep Accessories Product Line.

So far we've added some Jeep Floor Mats from vendors like Lloyd Mats and Mopar. We also have Raingler Netting, products from Cloverpatch, etc. And we have a list of product categories and brands we'd like to bring on. But we'd love to hear from our customers. What other brands or product categories would you like to buy from us. I know our blog is new, we are testing it out, and there's not a wide readership yet, so if YOU are reading this, we want to hear your voice. Take a sec and tell me what products we should carry. We'd appreciate your input. Thank you.

PS - As to what we are doing with our big red barn. What do you think? We are going to put all the Jeeps in it!

My favorite Jeep & Off-Road Magazines

Our mailbox is stuffed each month with  JP Magazine, Petersons 4-Wheel & Off Road, 4 Wheel Drive & Sport Utility Magazine, etc. We've been getting them all for years. But over the past 2-3 years a few new rags have come out, and we love them!

So if you've never seen these ones, we recommend that you grab yourself a subscription. Each has their own slant and a subscription to any of them would make a great stocking stuffer. (You can subscribe at their websites.)

Low-Range Magazine - Dan and Bill Sheriden started this magazine a few years back. Based in New Hampshire, it began covering the New England off-road events, Jeeps and trails and has expanded coverage to include the whole Northeast (and beyond).  There's very in-depth coverage of different off-road events, including coverage of the people involved in the events. Flip through the magazine and you may come upon in-depth coverage of a wheelin' friend's rig. The photography is great and they now print this bi-monthly on super high quality glossy paper. It's a keeper.

JRATIONS Magazine - This is a Jeep-only bi-monthly that combines a kick-a** print magazine with a feature-rich website too.  I think this publication is perfect for a new Jeeper. The tone is "accessible" and friendly. It also covers topics applicable to off-roading in general. Again, GREAT photos.

CRAWL Magazine - If you are a hardcore wheeler, and you haven't seen this magazine, put the mouse down right now and head out to your local newstand to pick up a copy. This magazine features the hardcore carnage your momma worried about when you went out on your first off-road adventures. Only problem may be that you'll want to skip work tomorrow to try these tricks for yourself!

JP FREEK Magazine - Hey, this one is FREE and an online magazine. Visit the site and download & print the magazine. It's awesome. This one's for the off-road "adventurer" and features articles on all sorts of outdoorsy escapades you can have. Rumor has it that it may become a print publication next year. We hope so. But sure hope that they keep up the free download also.

If we've missed your favorite off-road magazine, we'd love to hear from you. There's a lot of good Association publications. Which ones do you read?

Wrangler JKs and the Jeep Wave

I need to confess something. I've co-owned a Jeep - oriented company for over 4 years now, and just this year I finally traded in my Minivan and got a new 4 door Jeep as my daily driver. (We have the Scrambler for the trails and the Cherokee to plow with, and assorted other Jeeps also, but the daily driver was the minivan.) So it was great when Chrysler released a "practical" Jeep for the family. But then I noticed something funny. Jeep discrimination. From other Jeepers!

Let's face it, as fun as the Wrangler is, it just hasn't been practical as the "Family Car". When Daimler Chrysler introduced the 4 door Wrangler Unlimited JK, they opened up the Jeep market to a new customer - namely someone like me. Carpooling kids to their activities during the week was never easy in a two door Jeep. And now the 4-door makes it feasible. Kids, Dogs, Stuff and still room for groceries.

But to my surprise, many other Jeepers who were happy to wavy to a lifted, modified Scrambler won't wave when I drive the JK. What's with the discrimination? Don't I "count" as a real Jeeper driving a Wrangler Unlimited? Do I have to earn my wave?

So I want to know, why not wave? What do I have to do to earn the wave? Seriously, I want to know!
